Summary
History is often reshaped to serve power, ideology, or identity. Using History as a Propaganda Tool explores how narratives are rewritten, facts obscured, and myths accepted as truth. This piece examines manipulation across generations, showing why critical thinking is essential to uncovering authentic historical perspectives.

⚖historical revisionism
Using history as a propaganda tool is nothing new. For ages, people have used history to show a certain point of view. Both winners and losers have utilized it to convey their side of the story.
The problem with this tactic is that actual events are obscured and rewritten. The result is not history but a talking point. Only a tale to explain how strong or victimized you are.
As one generation give birth to another the propaganda becomes excepted as fact. The story is tweaked and conveyed according to the current social norms. This makes history a fake as the real story is lost in making points.
Real history is lost this way when it is passed down orally and in written forms. So-called scholars pour down like rain flooding the gate with their interpretations and rendering of past events.
📚 Why history gets distorted
Nearly always, these apprehenders of the facts are proven to be wrong. They base their interpretations on flawed evidence. Evidence that has been reworked over time by the winners and the loser making their case.
Even personal history is often reworked to explain, justify, and hide certain past events. Some rewrites are total lies while others are honest misinterpretations.
⚖historical revisionism
What evidence exists outside the dominant story?
From early times, history was seen as a powerful propaganda tool. It is used to sway the masses in a certain direction and influence their way of thinking.
Like a thoughtless horde. The masses accepts the version of history fed to them without questioning its validity. Many people don’t want to know the true story because it conflicts with what they have chosen to believe.
History is described as the study of change over time. And certainly, history has gone through a large amount of deliberate changing and rewriting over time.
⚖️ Can history be trusted?
Which parts of history are contested, and why?
So, can history as it is being told be trusted? The short answer is No. This includes cosmic, planetary, human, animal, and every type of history of which you can think.
The longer answer is No. History as it is now conveyed and portrayed can’t be trusted. This is because it is told by one group of people telling everyone else and everything else story. Whose voices are missing from the narrative?
