🌿I Like for You To

Summary

Words can heal or harm. I like for you to pause, breathe, and choose silence when emotions sway—because love thrives in gentleness, not haste.

pillow - I Like for You To

Mine:

I like for you to keep certain thoughts to yourself. Let me live in the make-believe world that you care for me. Some sentiments can do without being spoken which can cause hurt to another person. Even if those sentiments are genuine and valid.

A thought can’t break a heart or cause anxiety and depression. But words spoken in haste can cause confusion when certain actions and behaviors contradict those words. Instead, you should pause and think. Let your thoughts settle before speaking when they sway like a leaf in a breeze.

I like for you to keep the tone and the atmosphere pleasant, avoiding any chance for conflict. Leave me to my illusion or delusion when it causes you no harm. Let me ride the happy currents even when there is a mild turbulence in the wave.

This I ask of you as one person to another. Keeping in mind that temperaments fluctuate like seasonal time changes. And no matter what is going on in your mind at a certain time, the Sun still shines. And please wear a mask when using certain aerosol sprays because the fumes are not healthy to inhale.

I got off topic with that last sentence. So, let’s get back to the topic of speaking certain of your thoughts out loud. My mind is made up. So made up that each word you speak runs deep.

And not that I am soft to the touch, but when it comes to you, I am easily ruffled. Ruffled like a pillow being fluffed when it comes to being appreciated by you.

Likewise, the appreciation that I have for you. I see as my call to arms to be pleasing to you. Beyond the thoughts that appear and disappear like snowflakes, and words spoken in haste that makes for a bad day. The connection we have can’t be crushed by an idle word.

Even as words convey thoughts, some thoughts are better left unsaid. Thoughts fueled by a moment of emotions emitting words that can’t be amended or treated as unheard.

I like for you to take a breath for love’s sake and do not speak what your mind holds. Let me live in the shade of a tree. A tree that blossoms in every season whose rings show how it has weathered every climate temperament.

I like for you to speak your mind, but keep in mind that I have feelings too. And don’t forget to wear a mask when using aerosol sprays.

🌿 I Like for You to Hold Back Harsh Words, Speak with Care

There are moments when thoughts swirl like leaves in the breeze—restless, shifting, impossible to pin down. Yet when those thoughts are spoken in haste, they can land with the weight of stone. Words, once released, can’t be gathered back.

I like for you to keep certain thoughts to yourself. It is not because they lack truth. It is because truth spoken without tenderness can wound. A thought alone can’t break a heart, but words can. They can confuse, contradict, and leave scars when they are not aligned with love.

Let me live in the shade of gentleness, even when turbulence stirs the air. Let me ride the happy currents, knowing that silence can sometimes be the highest form of care.

When it comes to you, I am easily ruffled—like a pillow being fluffed, soft to the touch of your appreciation. That is why each word you speak runs deep. And yet, the connection we share is stronger than idle words. It is rooted like a tree. It blossoms in every season. Its rings show how it has endured every climate of temperament.

So, I ask take a breath for love’s sake. Speak your mind, but keep in mind that I have feelings too. Choose words that uplift, or choose silence when silence is kinder. In the end, love is not measured by the quantity of words spoken. It is measured by how much is preserved in peace.
