Summary
The Merging: is a philosophical meditation wrapped in poetic longing—a reflection on time, existence, and the aching desire for connection. It evokes a sense of drifting through life’s moments, searching for meaning in the spaces between them, yearning for the warmth of another soul to break the monotony of solitude.

My Write:
The Merging: One day uneventfully merging into another. Where is the smile? Where is the laughter? Time is unconscious of the day. Time is oblivious to moments. This is because time is an allusion of the finite.
The finite mind needs structure and order to properly work. Yet, time has no structure or order because time only exists within the mind of the finite.
There is no smile, nor laughter, nor sadness in the nonentity that the disappearing call time. And so, the merging comes. One moment flows seamlessly into many others. And in between the coming and pasting of each moment, there is nothing.
The merging feels endless. As endless as the nonexistent entity of time. Were are the kind words? Where are the loving thoughts? Hearing a constant thumping in the ears is an ever-present reminder of the fragility of life. Of life merging from one monotonous beat of the heart to the next.
To the next, and the next. Merging from the absence of one soft hug to the absence of another. Is there a place where there, IS? Where there is something besides emptiness. Where there is existence beyond the self. Where hands are extending in genuine friendship.
The day only comes when a planet rotates from a given point of its Star. From its Star that gives life to the finite. From a given point of its Star does night come and another day awaits. Another day that is the same as the rotation before. Another rotation where there is no soft lips to kiss and a warm body to touch.
The merging comes with the touch. The merging comes with the kiss. The merging comes with togetherness. Yet, where there is not. The merging is not. There is not the sound of her voice. There is not the look in her eyes. There is not meaning to the imaginary element called time.
So, the merging itself is an illusion because the properties of existence are static, unchanging. A static unbroken line of life without change. A single entity can’t form without something there. Thus, a line of life where merging can’t take place.
A single entity where merging takes place. A single entity that connects to another entity. To another entity where the two entities merge.
A merging of two welcoming arms outstretched. A merging of two minds in sync to create completeness. A merging that the obstacles of life can’t break.
The merging. Will it come? From emptiness to wholeness. The merging. Will it come?

The Merging: Finding Meaning in Time, Emptiness, and Connection
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel like one day simply merges into the next. Time slips by unnoticed, and moments lose their meaning. We ask ourselves: Where is the joy? Where is the laughter? These questions echo in the silence of routine, reminding us that time, as we know it, may be nothing more than a mental construct.
⏳ Is Time Just an Illusion?
Time gives structure to our lives, but what if it only exists in our minds? Without smiles, laughter, or sadness, time becomes a blank canvas—an endless stream of moments that feel disconnected. The merging of one moment into another becomes a quiet rhythm, like a heartbeat reminding us of life’s fragility.
💔 The Absence We Feel
We long for something more:
- A soft hug
- A kind word
- A loving thought
- The sound of a familiar voice
- Eyes that reflect understanding
But in the merging, these things are often missing. We wonder: Is there a place where something real exists? A place beyond emptiness. A place where hands reach out in friendship and love is felt deeply.
🌍 The Rotation of Days
Day and night are simply the result of Earth rotating around the sun. Another day comes, just like the one before. Another rotation without a kiss, without a warm touch. Without the sound of her voice. Without the connection we crave.
🤝 The Power of Connection
True merging happens when two people come together—arms outstretched, minds aligned, hearts open. That’s when life feels whole. That’s when the illusion of time fades, and presence becomes everything.
But until then, the merging remains a dream. A hope. A question.
Will the merging come?
Will emptiness turn into wholeness?
