Summary
Explore the manifesto Not Talking about Current Events, a thought‑provoking reflection on politics, human nature, and Earth’s future. It challenges corruption, advocates reverence for life, and inspires conscious change toward a humane society.

I don’t write about current events. Not because I am disinterested or have no opinion. But because I seldom discuss politics and have not posted anything related to it on social media.
To me, all political parties are the flip side of the same coin. All have their share of corruption, selfishness, and deceit. This is a real-world aspect of human nature acting out in real time.
The only way political corruption, selfishness, and deceit is eliminated is by a catastrophic change in human nature. This fortuitous change in human nature must incorporate a firm grounding to the planet Earth. It must also include a firm devotion and reverence for all the Earth’s life-forms.
Although politics have a direct influence and effect on people’s lives (seldom good) it is still a human devised concept. A concept that can be more humane and honest.
This catastrophic change in human nature is sightless. However, there are things that can be done before this great human awakening takes place.
The development of a new economic system is one change. This system embraces everyone and not just a few. (And Bit Coin is not it.) Another change is the way we see and treat each other. We can enhance this by not viewing the Earth and its many lifeforms as merely something to feed upon.
This great change in human consciousness may never come, but that does not prevent everyone from aspiring to it. Personally, and globally. Not with loud voices, praying, and holding hands. But by doing something that produce positive change.
The Planet Earth and the Universe will leave human beings behind if we don’t behave like a civilized species. Many hominids have gone extinct, and these are the ones we know of.
Modern humans will eventually become a name on the unordered list of Earth extinctions. So, let’s make our name on that list one to admire.
If extinction is our fate, let it be remembered not as a failure of greed. Let it be remembered as a species that, at its height, chose reverence over consumption. This species chose love over indifference.
🌍 A Manifesto for Human Awakening
I. The Limits of Politics
Politics is a human invention, a system devised to manage societies. Yet all political parties, no matter their colors or slogans, are the flip side of the same coin. Each carries corruption, selfishness, and deceit—expressions of human nature acting out in real time. To expect purity from politics is to expect perfection from flawed beings.
II. The Catastrophic Change We Need
The only way to eliminate corruption is not through new parties or policies. It requires a catastrophic change in human nature itself. This change must be rooted in reverence:
- Reverence for the Earth as our grounding.
- Reverence for all life-forms as kin, not resources.
Without this transformation, politics will stay a theater of greed.
III. Steps Before Awakening
While this great shift in consciousness may be sightless, there are things we can do now:
- Build a new economic system that embraces everyone, not just a privileged few. (And no, Bitcoin is not the answer.)
- Change how we see each other—not as competitors or consumers, but as fellow beings sharing a fragile planet.
- Reject the view of Earth as a feeding ground, and instead honor it as a living system we belong to.
IV. The Legacy of Humanity
Extinction is not a distant myth—it is a reality written into Earth’s history. Many hominids have already vanished, and modern humans may one day join that unordered list. But extinction does not have to mean disgrace.
We can choose to leave behind a legacy worth admiring:
- A species that, at its height, chose reverence over consumption.
- A civilization that aspired to sublime consciousness, even if imperfectly.
- A name on the list of extinctions that the Earth and Universe remember with love.
V. The Call
This awakening will not come through loud voices, prayers, or hand-holding. It will come through action—small, deliberate acts that produce positive change. One person, one thought, one gesture at a time.
